Porcelain | Real flower of Thistle | 24K gold | Mother of pearl | Handmade in London
Celebrate nature’s quiet strength with our Real Thistle in Porcelain Earrings — delicate yet bold, just like the woman who wears them. Each pair is handcrafted from real thistle flowers using a one-of-a-kind technique developed by FARPHORIA founder and Royal College of Art artist, Xenia Busalova.
Every bloom is carefully gathered, naturally dried while hanging upside down, then dipped in a liquid porcelain solution designed to capture every vein, curve, and fragile contour. Through a meticulous, multi-step process, the flower is transformed. During high-temperature kiln firing, the organic matter burns away, leaving behind a hollow porcelain shell that preserves the flower’s intricate structure—lightweight, ethereal, and impossible to replicate by hand.
The wild thistle silhouette evokes resilience and grace, making these earrings a deeply meaningful gift — especially for the eighteenth wedding anniversary, the traditional porcelain celebration. Their organic texture and soft ivory hue pair effortlessly with both everyday wear and special occasions.
Whether you're marking a milestone or simply honoring her unique spirit, Wild Thistle in Porcelain is more than a gift — it’s a story she can wear.
